Psalms 16:7
I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
This is the verse I've chosen to carry me today. I have quite a few things I've committed to do in the house, and it's a bit unnerving... But I know that I'm following God's voice in doing these things. Since I'm the oldest, the responsibility falls to me to make sure these things get done. Mom and Dad are in Arkansas taking Maggie to my grandfather's house, because we are going to get a new shower installed here, and we don't want her athsma to be triggered. I'm in charge of the house again, and I need to get things especially clean so that when we finally DO create this big mess, it won't be AS big as it could be.
I've started flylady this morning, and am really encouraged. So far, it looks like their telling people to do things that I already do on a regular basis. I skipped ahead a few days, and decided to go on with somethings I haven't done. Such as setting a timer for 15 minutes and only working on one thing until it goes off. You can do anything for 15 minutes. Anything. Even clean out the fridge (though I will not be doing that today). I'm going to be hitting the hotspots in my house that attack my house be constantly keeping clutter ammo at a ready hand. I'm going to wipe them out! Sneak in there, and attack them from the rear! They'll never know what hit them! *bwahahahahaha!!* Okay I'm done. :}
I know I can do it, because of this verse. God is in this. He will lead me, and walk with me, and I will not be moved.
