My Princess... My chosen one,
I chose you before the foundation of the earth to be My princess. You are royalty, even when you don't feel like a princess. I will wait for you until you are ready to start living the amazing plans I have for you. I know you don't know where to begin or how to become what I've called you to be, so let Me teach you day by day. Start by recognizing who I am: King of kings and Lord of lords. The Lover of your soul. When the two of us meet alone together every day, I will show you how to let of the things in your life that are holding you back from the blessings I want to give you.
Remember, My child, just as I have chosen you, I have given you a choice to represent Me to the world. If you are willing, I am here to give you all you need to complete your calling.
Love,
Your King and Lord who chose you.
"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give you." John 15:16
~
My King Who chose me,
It's so hard for me to believe that you chose me to represent You to the world.
Lord, I feel so inadequate to be called Your princess. I want to be what You've called me to be, but I don't know how. I need You to help me let go of who I think I am and become who you say I am. I know that You've given me a free will and that You would never force me to live for You, yet I want to be totally devoted to You. I want to leave a legacy with my life. I want the world to know I'm Yours. I'm asking You to anoint me and show me how to live and act as Your princess. I'm choosing to believe that You will equip me to do everything You call me to do and keep me strong to finish my journey of faith. Thank You for embracing me as Your daughter and for loving me with Your life.
Because You first chose me...I choose to follow You today. I love You and I feel so privileged to call You the Lord of my life, and my savior.
Love,
Your princess...who says "yes"
These are a couple letters written in Sheri Rose's books: "His Princess, Love letters from your King", and "Prayers to my King". I read them every day to put my life back in the proper perspective, and to help me completely submit my life to His will. I'm sharing this correspondence with you because it touched me deeply, and I believe everyone would benefit from reading it.
Lets face it, sometimes we just don't feel special. There are so many other people out there who have such amazing talents and gifts, we look at them and think that we must be mishaps or something. But think about what your saying there with those thoughts... Did God make a mistake? Is it possible that the Lord of all creation didn't know what He was doing?
Girls, do you like the way you look? When you look in the mirror, is there something you long to change? Are you content with your own string of talents, or do you envy others around you who maybe have "better" ones? Are you hiding behind your makeup and flashy clothes hoping no one will see who you really are? Get this:
"As for you, [insert your name here], know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it." 1 Chronicles 28:9-10
God sees you exactly as you are. He made you exactly as you are. He likes you exactly as you are. He wants you to seek Him. Your body is His temple. He wants to dwell there with YOU. Yes, you. Not the girl on the front of the magazine or the smart kid in class, you. He has chosen you. Won't you choose Him?

Kaytie- I love the book "His Princess, Love letters from your King"! Since I started rereading it recently, God has been timing each letter perfectly, often on the exact day I'm dealing with that very issue. :-)
